Conducting Privacy Impact Assessments (PIAs)

Against the backdrop of strengthened privacy legislation (MFIPPA, PHIPA and more), and a growing expectation by ratepayers for better privacy practices, municipalities are being held to a higher standard when it comes to managing privacy compliance. PIAs are increasingly viewed as one of trusted methods for preventing privacy breaches and other mishaps.
