Municipal Work in the Time of COVID
Date: Tuesday, May 11, 2021

Time: 12:00-1:30 PM ET

Within the context of the pandemic, Katie and Andrea will discuss how stress reactions look different for everyone, and how, with a deeper understanding of the various needs of your staff and council members, you can lead your team with excellence.

What you will learn:
  • Further comprehension that each individual brings their own strength and style to the team
  • That there are no negative personalities within the workplace
  • An understanding of the stress responses within ourselves and others
  • To develop an appreciation that we’re all going through a similar experience although our reactions may be different
Who should attend:

This webinar is for any municipal staff keen on maintaining a positive, respectful and synergistic environment among their team during this pandemic.

Katie Pergau and Andrea Johnston

Andrea Johnston is a Certified Human Behaviour Specialist. With a background in health & fitness, Andrea  enjoys coaching others with the goal of challenging people to think in new ways. Moving from the gym to the corporate setting, the lessons are different but the outcome is the same: opportunity for personal and professional growth! Andrea delivers material that is relevant while also being easy to apply.

Katie Pergau is a Certified Human Behaviour Specialist. As former Executive Director of the Barrie Music Festival Association for nine years, and current Vice President of the Ontario Music Festival Association, Katie has dedicated countless hours to working with volunteers, not for profit organizations and their boards. Having mentored with Dr. Robert Rohm of Personality Insights Inc., Katie has spent the past 20 years implementing her knowledge of 'what makes people tick' in both her personal and professional life. This life experience makes her perfectly suited to offer insight and knowledge about many different aspects of human dynamics through anecdotes and relatable examples.
