How public service leaders view and adapt to change has a direct affect on how local governments operate and work to sustain their relevance. In this workshop we’ll explore the significance of evolving trends when it comes to service sustainability so that you can better understand and assess your organization’s needs, recognize when and how to adapt, be able to deal with unexpected challenges and embrace change.

About the Instructor:

Dr. Gordon McIntosh, CLGM has 40 years of international management, educator and consultancy experience with public sector agencies. His positions have included principal appointed officer as well as corporate, human resources, social and community development functions. In his work, he provides governance development, strategic facilitation and leadership training services for national, regional, local and Indigenous governments. His current research focuses on political/administrative relations and executive public service leadership. Gordon has conducted over 1,300 training sessions involving more than 140,000 elected/appointed officials and staff. Session participants often report that his dynamic and practical instruction have enabled them to make an immediate leadership difference within their organizations.

A refund levy of $113 (includes HST) will be applied to every cancellation received up to five (5) business days prior to the holding of the session. No refunds will be made for cancellations of less than five (5) business days prior to the holding of the session.
