The Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services (MCSCS) is currently collecting feedback on a proposed new regulation that would require fire services to publicly report on response times. Specifically, under the proposed regulations fire departments would have to report to the Office of the Fire Marshal and Emergency Management (OFMEM) on a number of standard response times, and submit it to their local municipal council. At the end of each year OFMEM would also be responsible for making these response times public on its website.

You can view the proposed regulation here. Comments can be submitted until March 18, 2018.
