Zone 6 Colleagues,

Let’s RISE to the occasion!

On behalf of the Zone 6 Executive, I encourage you to take advantage of the opportunity for “early bird” registration to the 2021 AMCTO Annual General Meeting and Professional Institute

As Municipal Experts, you have encountered unprecedented challenges over the last year. Faced with these challenges, you continue to demonstrate resiliency and innovation in your service delivery, including responding to the needs of your residents, elected officials and colleagues. The 2021 “conference is a perfect opportunity for you to maintain your “toolkit” and to be better prepared to RISE to new opportunities that lie ahead. You will get to hear from peers across the province, as well as key stakeholders like the Ministry of Municipal Affairs and Housing and the Municipal Property Assessment Corporation, just to mention a few. As a registered participant, you will continue to have access to all presentations up to six months after the conference. More information about the conference is found in the enclosed package and on AMCTO’s website

We know that professional development budgets may be under pressure, so please note that the discounted “early bird”opportunity expires on Friday, March 19, 2021. To help with your “business case” for attending, since the conference will be all virtual, this is also an opportunity to save on travel times and accommodation cost. For further support, AMCTO President (and fellow Zone 6’er!) Robert Tremblay has written an Open Letter that outlines that benefits of continuing to invest in professional development, which you may find useful.

We hope to “see” many of you at the conference,

Tyler, Chair, AMCTO Zone 6 Executive
