Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund Allocations Announced

As first announced in the 2021 Fall Economic Statement, the Province is providing an additional $1 billion over the next five years for the Ontario Community Infrastructure Fund (OCIF) as part of their plan to support economic recovery, growth and job creation through investments in infrastructure.

This additional $1 billion symbolizes a doubling of OCIF, bringing the government’s total investment to nearly $2 billion over the next five years. Staring in 2022, the formula determining funding allocations will include an increased funding minimum of $100,000 for all communities per year, up from $50,000 in previous years.

Information regarding the allocations for OCIF recipients is available in Ontario’s Data Catalogue.
