Ontario Association of Property Standards Officers (OAPSO)


A graduate of Police Foundations at Fanshawe College, Allison started her municipal enforcement career as a Parking Officer in the City of Woodstock before moving on to the City of Waterloo in 2006 where she worked as a Compliance & Standards Officer and then a Property Standards Officer. Her involvement with the Ontario Association of Property Standards Officers (OAPSO) Board of Directors began in 2019 when she was elected to serve as the Director of Certification Training and Education. She has also served as Vice President, responsible for organizing the Association's Annual Training Seminar, and in 2022, was elected President.

Allison is also a member of the Ontario Municipal Management Institute (OMMI) and has achieved her Certified Municipal Manager II (CMM II) with a Property Standards Professional enhancement. She also serves as a member of the OMMI Accreditation Committee.

Allison is a graduate of the Leadership Waterloo Region community leadership development program and occasionally serves as acting manager within her department.
