The Province officially launched it's 2021 Pre-Budget Submission process late Friday, January 15th. This will be the first Budget of Minister of Finance and President of the Treasury Board, Peter Bethlenfalvy, who replaced MPP Rod Phillips who resigned from Cabinet in December.
Based on the survey that that accompanies the launch, the Provincial budget will continue to focus on:
- Front-line health care services
- Supporting workers and families
- Supporting small businesses
It will also focus on:
- Job creation and skill development
- Communities
- Attracting investment
To submit your ideas, visit the official website. The deadline to submit is February 12, 2021.
