The Alcohol and Gaming Commission of Ontario (AGCO) released a bulletin as a result of a number of inquiries related to an online charitable raffle supplier.
AGCO clarified that The Lotto Factory (TLF Global Ltd.) is not currently registered by the AGCO as a Gaming-Related Supplier.
As part of its mandate the AGCO assesses eligibility of such goods and services suppliers based on the legislative and regulatory environment including under the Gaming Control Act, 1992.
The AGCO notes that "charities to ensure they are working with a registered supplier and using the current Registrar’s approved version of a supplier’s technical solution."
The AGCO mantains a list of registered gaming-related suppliers as well as other resources.
