Tehkummah is seeking an experienced municipal administrator to assume the position of Clerk-Treasurer. This is a full-time position and will perform the statutory duties as set out in applicable provincial legislation. Tehkummah is located on Manitoulin Island north of the Chi-Cheemaun Ferry Terminal in South Baymouth. Bring your skills and knowledge to the land of dark skies, big waves, fishing - summer and winter, boating, lovely pastoral views, farming, and quiet. Required: extensive knowledge of financial planning and accounting principles; experience in municipal administration preferred; ability to lead a small staff; familiarity with Microsoft based computer programs; CMO, AMCTO or Diploma in Municipal Administration would be an asset; references and criminal reference check must be attached to letter of application.
