Find the Designation that's Right for You

Backed by research of various municipal competency frameworks, we have developed the following Definition of Practice for Municipal Management as a resource for local government professionals. The Core Knowledge Requirements outline the competencies, practices, and behaviours that local government managers must demonstrate for high achievement. This includes a broad understanding and knowledge of relevant political, economic, legal, infrastructure, and social issues, as well as issues specific to the community and region where the manager serves.
