John Mascarin is a partner at Aird & Berlis LLP, a certified specialist in Municipal Law: Local Government & Land Use Planning and Development by the Law Society of Ontario. He also serves as an adjunct professor at Osgoode Hall Law School. John is the co-author of the Annotated Municipal Act, all editions of Ontario Municipal Act & Commentary, and three other published texts. He is the recipient of the Ontario Bar Association's Award of Excellence in Municipal Law (2023) and a recipient of the Distinguished Canadian Municipal Lawyer Award from the International Municipal Lawyers Association (2022).
