Volunteering is a great way to get involved in your Association, build upon your skills, learn from others’ experiences and expertise, and give back to support your fellow members.
We are currently looking for volunteers to serve on a variety of committees and working groups to support members in the areas of diversity, equity and inclusion, policy and government relations, ethics, and accreditation:
- Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Working Group
- Legislative & Policy Advisory Committee (LPAC)
- Ethics Advisory Group
- CMO and AMP Accreditation Review Teams
- CMO/AMP and AOMC Accreditation Program Advisory Groups
- Roster of Municipal Subject Matter Advisors (applications reviewed and accpeted on an as-needed rolling basis)
Applications are encouraged from members working across a range of municipal services, municipal geographies, skills and experiences. AMCTO is committed to diversity, equity and inclusion and values the voices, lived experiences and perspectives of individuals of all backgrounds. It is important that our Association reflects the diverse communities we serve. We strongly encourage AMCTO members from diverse backgrounds to apply. Applicant diversity will be considered as part of the selection process.
With the exception of the Roster of Municipal Subject Matter Advisors, the deadline for all volunteer applications is Friday, April 26 at 5:00 pm.
