This week marks another Local Government Week, where we celebrate the accomplishments and ongoing important work of our members and municipal professionals.
In case you missed it, earlier this month, we released the following #LocalGovWeek member toolkit, complete with updated social media assets, key messages, role-specific resources, as well as French and English one-pagers you can use to celebrate in your organizations and communities. We encourage you to use these tools to help build awareness of the work of local government staff and the amazing opportunities to get involved in the sector!
Throughout this Local Government Week, we'll be spotlighting some of our amazing members, the valuable role of Ontario municipal managers, clerks, and treasurers, and ways to get involved in the sector. We'll also be sharing a timely conversation on youth voter engagement as part of our latest Municipal Monitor Extra.
If you aren't doing so already, follow along with us on social media (@amcto_policy) on Instagram and 'AMCTO' on LinkedIn and Facebook. Have your own interesting local government stories to share? Tag us in your posts and use the hashtag #LocalGovWeek to join the conversation!
Connect with Your Peers at an Upcoming AMCTO Event
Local Government Week is a time for reflection and connection, and we encourage these important conversations and community-building to continue well beyond this week!
