Ezra's team is responsible for legislative and regulatory changes to the Municipal Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (MFIPPA) and its provincial counterpart, the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA). They also provide training, advice, and information to ministries and other public institutions. Ezra has been in the Ontario Public Service for 15 years, most recently as a manager within GovTechON’s Office of the Corporate Chief Information Officer. He learned policy while working in consumer protection and is enthused by how much there is to learn about privacy and access policy.
