Michael Wildman is an award-winning local government expert and the president and principal consultant at Municipal Government Wayfinders Ltd. His senior leadership background includes serving as chief administrative officer (CAO) for multiple municipalities and holding key executive management roles within the City of Ottawa. Over a distinguished 35-year career spanning small, mid-size, and large metropolitan tiers, he has specialized in municipal administration, strategic visioning, policy development and corporate leadership. Michael also served on the Board of Directors for the Association of Municipal Managers, Clerks & Treasurers of Ontario (AMCTO) from 2017 to 2019. As a graduate of the Professional Facilitator Program, Michael draws on this deep administrative experience to lead strategic planning sessions and speak at various events.
