The Ministry of Finance is seeking input into the development of the province’s 2026 budget. Municipalities and other interested parties can participate through taking a survey, providing a written submission, and/or attending a pre-budget consultation hearing. Submissions are due by January 30, 2026. More information can be found on the government’s portal.
As in prior years, we will be preparing a submission to provide policy advice to strengthen Ontario’s municipalities. If you have input you would like us to consider, please contact us.
