Region of Peel
Peggy currently oversees the Region’s budget development and long‑term financial planning strategies. In this capacity, she leads the annual budget process and advances Lean Sigma cost‑containment initiatives to drive efficiency and sustainable savings across the organization.
Prior to joining the Region of Peel, Peggy served as director of finance and treasurer for the Township of King. During her tenure, she played a key role in developing the Township’s first service‑based budget and led the organization in achieving the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Budget Award for financial reporting for four consecutive years. Earlier in her career, she held finance roles with the Town of Caledon and the City of Guelph.
With professional designations as a CPA and CGA, Peggy brings a disciplined, strategic approach to financial oversight and provides trusted leadership in long‑term financial planning and fiscal sustainability.
