2026 Conference Charities of Choice

Date Published

Today is #GivingTuesday — an annual tradition and day to celebrate and encourage global charitable giving. As an Association, we are proud to participate in Giving Tuesday each year by announcing and giving to our selected conference charities of choice. For the upcoming 2026 event, we are proud to support Food4Kids Muskoka and the Children's Foundation of Muskoka.

Food4Kids Muskoka believes that all children deserve equitable access to healthy and nutritious food to grow, learn, and play, as kids should. By shining a light on the issues of food insecurity in the rural context of Muskoka, Food4Kids is mobilizing a community of volunteers to raise awareness and financial resources to address this growing need. Food4Kids Muskoka’s “Weekends Without Hunger” program provides 12-15 nutritious food items during the 48-hour weekend window where children might not have access to food, due to challenging life circumstances that are out of their control. Visit Food4Kids Muskoka to learn more and donate.

Food4Kids' vision is to raise awareness on issues related to food insecurity in the communities they serve to help children receive proper nutrition during their formative years. Food4Kids continues to have a deep and lasting impact on the lives of children, providing them with the fuel to learn, grow and play, enriching their lives now and in the future.

The Children's Foundation of Muskoka (CFM) is a Canadian charitable organization that has been around for over 33 years, supporting under-resourced kids in Muskoka to access the opportunities and supports they need to be happy, healthy, and feel a sense of belonging. CFM provides grants so kids can participate in sports and recreation programs, attend summer camps, engage in the arts, and have access to basic needs like a bed or winter clothing, mental health supports, and can attend post-secondary education and training. CFM believes no child or youth should be excluded from any activity or lack access to a fundamental need due to financial barriers.

Each year, through their Campership Fund, CFM sends over 100 kids to both day and residential camps who wouldn't otherwise have the opportunity to attend due to financial barriers. CFM hopes to continue to grow the number of kids who can access the wonderful opportunities that camps offer through the generous support of donors. Visit Children's Foundation of Muskoka (CFM) to learn more and donate.
