As you may have seen on social media, we are pleased to formally announce the launch of our new 2027-2030 AMCTO Strategic Plan.
This Strategic Plan builds on the Association’s strong foundation by staying true to our legacy while boldly sharpening our areas of focus where we can explore new opportunities and drive the biggest impact. The Plan reflects the voices, experiences, and expertise of the municipal professionals AMCTO exists to serve.
On behalf of the Association, we want to sincerely thank our members, the Board of Directors, Zone Chairs, partners, and staff who contributed their time and perspectives throughout this process to create a Plan that is ambitious, practical, and grounded in the realities of today's municipal sector.
At a time of significant change and growing complexity for local government, the Plan sets a clear direction for how we will continue to support, connect, and champion the people who make local government work. Our roadmap is anchored in four interconnected pillars that reflect our priorities and future direction. At the foundation of the Plan is a commitment to membership, recognizing that members are at the centre of everything the Association does and are essential to building a strong, connected, and future-ready municipal sector.
