Registration is now closed for the Fall 2025 course. Registration for the Winter/Spring 2026 term will open on December 1, 2025. There is no waiting list for the next term. This unit is not available in Zoom format for the Winter/Spring 2026 term, but will be available in the Fall 2026 Term. Only the correspondence format for this unit is available for the Winter/Spring 2026 term.
Course materials and a syllabus with all due dates will be available to registrants by September 4. The first assignment/first quiz is due by September 25 and the final assignment/final quiz is due by December 11.

Textbook
The course textbook is provided as a PDF file to all registrants. The file will be available in AMCTO Connect once the course opens for access by September 4. However, AMCTO provides the option to purchase a hard copy of the textbook with an additional fee, and the book is shipped through Canada Post's Xpresspost. You'll have an opportunity to purchase the hard copy textbook through the online registration process. Due to logistics, textbook shipping may not start until after registration closes on August 11.

Steve Facey, CPA, CMA
Manager of Finance, City of Sault Ste. Marie
Steve has been working in finance and accounting since 2009. He has marked for the Municipal Accounting and Finance Program for three years. As the Manager of Finance for the City of Sault Ste. Marie, Steve coordinates and supports the preparation of the City’s operating and capital budgets and financial statements, and supports the development of the City’s Asset Management Plans. Previous to this role, Steve worked as the Manager of Financial Planning & Budgeting for the City of Sudbury.
