Joanne Hyde is a nationally recognized municipal leader with over 15 years of senior government experience including the statutory role of municipal clerk. Her experience includes serving in both large upper-tier and smaller rural communities along with the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.  She has presented at the Association of Municipalities of Ontario (AMO) and Rural Ontario Municipal Association (ROMA) conferences on effective meeting management and the Municipal Information Systems Association (MISA) conference on effective tools for meeting modernization for rural municipalities. 

 

As an original member of the Canadian Association of Municipal Administrators (CAMA) Masterminds, Joanne participates in a national group of municipal leaders that focuses on the importance of local government across Canada. Joanne is also an AMCTO trainer and instructor in the Municipal Employee Readiness program at Durham College. 

Her personal philosophy is rooted in providing the good-governance strategies, with a dose of creativity and integrity!
