Ruarri is a graduate of Queen’s University and Humber College. He has been working as a prosecutor for 17 years, starting as a per diem provincial prosecutor in the Peel region. Ruarri previously worked for the City of Toronto and has been with the City of Mississauga for more than eight years.
He has been a Director of the PAO since 2018, where he assists primarily with case law updates for both the PAO and AMCTO. He also provides mentorship to the profession through paralegal field placements and the PAO’s Ask an Expert Program.
