Crystal Forrest is an experienced cultural heritage professional and facilitator who has held leadership positions at consulting firms, academic institutions, museums, government ministries, and administrative authorities. She is currently the senior manager, cemeteries strategy and operations at the Bereavement Authority of Ontario, and served in the dual position of manager, burials unit and registrar, from 2020-2024 where she was responsible for burial sites, cemetery closures and abandonments, and war graves under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act. Crystal holds a Ph.D. in Biological Anthropology from the University of Toronto and is a licensed professional archaeologist in Ontario.
